Alternates who register before 5/15/06 will receive all legislative materials sent to deputies pre-convention and will receive daily legislative materials at convention. Alternates who register after that date will receive all materials at the Convention in Registration. During the legislative sessions, you will receive updated printed material in the “Alternates Area” on the perimeter of the House of Deputies. All deputies and registered alternates will receive a Journal post-convention. 2006 Canons may be ordered at Convention. Alternates who do not plan to attend the 75th General Convention may purchase the Blue Book, Canons and Journal from Church Publishing when published. The General Convention Journal will be published on a CD ROM. Check on the space provided on the form if you wish to receive it in loose leaf form.

All bishops, deputies, registered alternates, ECW delegates and registered ECW alternates will be assigned table numbers for Bible sharing. All others attending Convention will not be assigned to a table and will be welcome to sit at any unnumbered table.

The ECW Triennial Meeting is planning a series of open workshops on Sunday 6/18/06, Monday 6/19/06 and Tuesday 6/20/06. You are invited to attend the workshops even if you are not an ECW member. Registration badges and packets for bishops, deputies, alternates and ECW will be ready at the Registration Counters, in the Columbus Convention Center, starting Sunday, 6/11/06 at 9:30 am.

On-Line Registration will be open until May 21st, 2006. After that date you must register on-site at the General Registration Counter, in the Columbus Convention Center, beginning Sunday, 6/11/06 at 9:30 am.

Visitors who wish to receive all registration material distributed to the Bishops, Deputies and paid Alternates (Blue Book, Journal and Notebook and regular legislative updates on-site) must pay the registration fee of $350. Please note that we are offering a special Pre-registration fee of $50 for visitors to attend General Convention for multiple days and who do not want to receive the legislative material. Fee for visitors registering on-site for multi-day attendance is $60. This fee includes a badge and holder, map and program. Visitors who wish to attend one day only must register on-site for a one time fee of $15. This fee includes a badge and a daily schedule.

There will be many volunteer opportunities at General Convention. Some areas require specific skills and experience – some will include a great deal of physical activity – others will require only limited time involvement.
